About The Beacon Family

Why we help

The Beacon Family was born out of love for the wellbeing of the family. With the understanding that the society is made of families and that the functioning of the family affects community and humanity, the founders with their passion and experience in caring for children by strengthening and supporting families in the mid-2000's began championing the cause of supporting families with the care and raising of children involving all stakeholders. We believe that the functioning of the home has resulted in raising great men and women of great benefit to the society, likewise those of menace and social vices in the society.

Our history

With widespread involvement in caring for children and assisting families, The Beacon Family Hub (TBF) was in 2012 born with a pilot BEACON CLUB HOUSE in Accra with volunteer staff for children on vacation with the aim of helping develop positive values and inspiring their creativity in support of raising beacons to positively impact society. The club underscored the need to increase effort in involving parents, guardians, teachers & child caregivers, domestic workers and all who are around children or take part in raising children to be aware and to consciously participate in the positive training of the children in the right ways to help them grow to positively impact society.
